It was great to see so many parents and children from both Littleport and Millfield primary schools at the Year 6 Open Evening that was held at Neale-Wade Academy. The evening presented us with an opportunity to explain the ethos and culture that exists within The Active Learning Trust family of schools. I received many positive comments during the evening and I look forward to working with all of the parents and pupils in the near future. Whilst the evening provided an opportunity to showcase our work at Neale-Wade it is also import at to highlight that Littleport and East Cambridgeshire Academy (LECA) will have it own unique identity that will suit the local children and the Littleport community.

The search will soon begin to recruit a suitable Head of School who will work alongside me in my Executive Principal role. This will be an exciting time for all concerned as we plan for the opening of what will be an exceptional school that will provide a strong traditional curriculum, high quality pastoral care and enriching extra-curricula activities. This week was the start of the journey for the new school and we will soon be sharing the LECA logo and uniform details.
