Ely Aquatics and Reptiles shared a lovely story on their Facebook Page:

 

''Early in December I received some letters from students at Littleport and East Cambs Academy. Each student wrote their own letter explaining how keeping some fish would help them.

I agreed to donate to them a 45 litre tropical aquarium with everything they need to get started. Including a test kit, gravel, gravel vac etc. Once it’s all set up I’ll also supply fish once the water is ready.

Mental health is not often talked about.

This pandemic is affecting everyone differently and children are often forgotten.

I really hope that this aquarium brings them a little joy and that they continue to have fish keeping as a hobby as they grow up!''
